Worship Service & Cornerstone Kids Zone: Sundays at 10am

We believe that God is always at work in the lives of people. He created us to be in relationship with Him and each other. This is why here at Cornerstone Church it is always about people. God's desire to live in relationship with His creation has been the foundation for why we exist as a church.

Our desire is to put God at the center of our relationships knowing that this will strengthen families and restore lives. We’re a community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope to our community! We invite you to Gather, Gain and Give with us!

So you get to know us better

The Great Commandment

“Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart… soul… and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’”
Matt. 22:36-40

We Believe
  • We believe the Bible contains all the guidelines needed for life. It gives us application for all relationships. It gives hope and shows us how to live a life filled with joy and purpose.
  • We believe that we can have forgiveness of our imperfection, which is called sin, and eternal life by personally acknowledging Jesus as our Leader and Forgiver.
  • We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, all-knowing, and eternally existing in three persons — God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Great Commission

“Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
Matt. 28:19-20

We Believe
  • We believe true happiness begins when we realize how much the Creator of the universe loves us and desires an intimate relationship with us.
  • We believe in the Bible, and that it contains the very words from God, written by man through God’s inspiration.
  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He died for our sins, rose from the dead and will return again, as predicted, to claim each of us who have a personal relationship with Him.

About...

About God:

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.Supporting Scripture: Genesis 1:1; Genesis 26-27; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14.

About Mankind:

We are all made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. We are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although mankind has tremendous potential for good, we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates us from God.
Supporting Scripture: Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2.

About Eternity:

We are all created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. The place of eternal separation from God is called Hell. Heaven is the place of eternal union and eternal life with God.
Supporting Scripture: John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15 (Hell); Matthew 25:41; Revelation 21:27 (Heaven).

About Jesus:

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. He came to earth born of the virgin Mary and though fully man, was fully God at the same time. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Supporting Scripture: Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5; John 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; I Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13.

About Salvation:

Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our life by faith.
Supporting Scripture: Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; John 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1.

About Eternal Security:

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in the salvation for eternity. Salvation is not maintained by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.
Supporting Scripture: John 10:29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 7:25, Hebrews 10:10, Hebrews 14; I Peter 1:3-5.

About The Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make mankind aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
Supporting Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:1

About The Bible:

The Bible is God’s word to all mankind. It was written by human authors who were under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.
Supporting Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160; Psalm 12:6; Proverbs 30:5.
